Sleaford returned to home soil on Saturday, drawing 0-0 with Rainworth Miners Welfare in UCL Division One action.
Despite a strong first half, the Greens couldn't capitalise on any chances, eventually playing out a goalless affair.
Five changes were made to the side that lost to Dronfield a week prior, with Lewis Smith, Ben Coleman, Joe Nicholson, Riley Wilkinson and Jamie McGhee all entering the starting 11.
Attacker Dion Tansey-Potter looked to score his second goal in as many games just six minutes in, finding his way into the box with some quick feet, but as he lined his shot up he dragged it just wide of goal.
This chance gave the hosts some confidence behind their attacks, with McGhee having a shot from range shortly after which flew just over the bar.
As the half progressed, Sleaford continued to attack and create, but weren't clinical enough in front of goal. A scramble in the box led to shots from Benji Zalewski and Tansey-Potter, but the final shot from close range by the latter was stopped well by the Rainworth goalkeeper.
The visitors had a shot just before half time, but it didn't trouble Phil McGann between the sticks for Sleaford.
The second half commenced with a much slower tempo, seeming to be a much more comfortable speed for the visitors.
Tansey-Potter continued to be the biggest threat for the Greens, however, with a ball across goal being blasted over the bar from close range.
As the game reached the latter stages, Sleaford came close to getting a winner once again. First off, a shot from substitute Jake Thompson was drilled powerfully, but drew wide of the target. Minutes later, captain Jonathan Timmins met a free kick with his head, but he couldn't get it on target.
The Wrens created half-chances to try and get a winner late on, but McGann was strong in Sleaford's net, as he looked to keep Sleaford a clean sheet for the first time this year.
The referee blew for full time after a few late chances, with Sleaford players wondering how they hadn't secured three points.
The Greens will need to pick up the positives from the match and apply it to their next match on Tuesday night, as they make the trip to Coalville Town in more UCL Division One football.
